That wasn’t all that Wayne had to say. She also said that on the night of Natalie’s death, she heard cries for help around midnight. She said, “My cabin window was open. A woman’s voice, crying for help, awakened John and awakened me, ‘Help me, someone please help me, I’m drowning.'”

Apparently, Wayne attempted to contact the harbor patrol, but no one answered. In addition, she phoned the local sheriff, who promised they would send out a helicopter. Yet, she claims a helicopter didn’t ever show. On top of that, she claimed she heard a man’s “slurred voice” who said, “Oh, hold on, we’re coming to get you.”
