Pecan Trees
Pecan trees produce the nuts we all know and love in our pies, but that doesn’t mean that these are a great idea to grow in your yard. These trees tend to be brittle and their branches easily break off, creating a big mess. The risk of fallen parts in addition to spreading parasites are enough of a reason to leave the cultivation of these trees to the experts. You can just buy some pecans at your supermarket.
Amur Maple
Amur maple trees can grow up to 20 feet tall though they’re sometimes used for hedges. They are resilient in different types of soil and easily spread their seeds, which can make them a threat to any nearby plants in both woodland areas as well as praries.
