Rebel, Rebel

While she used to be in her father’s shadow, Zoe Kravitz has seriously come into her own recently. Known for being a rebellious rock-and-roller, she has come to star in blockbuster moves, like the Lego movie, and Mad Max. Like her father, Kravitz is also a musician; her band, Lolawolf, for which she is the lead vocalist, has opened for major acts like Miley Cyrus, Warpaint and Lily Allen, and she has toured as far as Australia.

Halle Berry Was One of the First

The beloved actress Halle Berry was actually the first ever African-American to win the award for Best Actress at the Oscars. Oddly enough, she portrayed Dorothy Dandridge early in her career. Dandridge was the first African-American woman to be nominated for the award that Berry won, and the two actors were actually born at the same hospital in Cleveland, Ohio! Berry definitely deserved to win the award for her incredible performance in Monster’s Ball; it may be one of the best-ever performances in film.
