Your Squad
As soldiers that are deployed abroad are far away from their friends and family back home, it is all too common to form bonds during their service. The unit becomes your family and you have your squad’s back no matter what may come your way. These friendships that are formed last for years after their service has come to an end, and many regard each other as brothers and sisters.
Tell It To Me Short
Acronyms are frequently heard around the military base. Many times this is done to speed up communication, but acronyms can also be used to keep outsiders out of the conversation. Some of these acronyms include SNAFU, BOHICA, and WAG. Unless you’ve been in the military, these letters may look like a random jumble, but soldiers will immediately know what these mean.
