Many wonder where these royals get all their funding. A report from Wikileaks said that all of the sons of Al-Saud get monthly money from the government. Even the grandchildren and great grandchildren and so on, receive monthly funding but less than the older generations. Over the years, the amounts have increased. Yet, many government officials and princes were arrested during the purge in 2017 on corruption charges by the King and Crown Prince.

Sadly, this princess’ story is no fairy-tale. Princess Misha’al married her cousin due to family pressure. However, she fell in love with another man in Beirut and started an affair. When they tried to escape Saudi Arabia, they were caught. Tragically, she was executed publicly for her indiscretions at age 19.
