A Series of Unfortunate Events

In the film based on the hit children’s books, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Jim Carrey could not have been a better fit for the character Count Olaf. During their shoot, there was a moment where Carrey stuttered so he made the following request, “Wait! Let me do that one more time! Give me the light again. Quickly, while it’s fresh in my mind!” Turns out, this off-script real life request for a second take fit perfectly for the narcissistic character, Olaf.

Inglorious Basterds

All we can think of when we hear Inglorious Basterds is Brad Pitt’s hilarious accent. However, we are here to tell you about another moment in the film. Just when Colonel Hans Landa (played by the incredibly talented Christoph Waltz) is choking the actress Bridget (played by Diane Kruger) something else was happening in real life. What you see on the screen is actually director Quentin Tarantino’s hands really strangling Diane! Apparently, Tarantino was demonstrating how Waltz should do the scene. Thus, that’s definitely real fear in Kruger’s eyes. I mean, she fainted at the end of that scene. Surely, it was an odd experience to be strangled by her director.
