Of course, Orson Welles has earned himself quite the reputation. Did you know this film legend would improvise wordplay off the cuff? During his film The Third Man, he came up with this one on the spot, “In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, bloodshed. They produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, five hundred years of democracy and peace. And what did that produce? The cuckoo clock.”

Unsurprisingly, such an enormous talent like Meryl Streep is able to get into character and improvise some pretty incredible lines. Streep came up with the line, “Everybody wants to be us.” Iconic.
