Even though they were fairly certain there were no issues, Holly and Mark decided to take a DNA test, since she did not remember what happened to her when she got lost at age 2. This would be the final definitive proof that they had no biological connection. After that was cleared up, there were a few more questions Holly still needed answers to.

Holly didn’t remember her biological father at all, and she learned from Martha that he had passed away just a few years earlier. She was devastated that she could never meet her biological father, but Martha assured her that he was a wonderful man. She felt grateful that she had her biological mother but also loving and supportive adoptive parents.
