A Strange Coincidence?
A bizarre link between the two autopsies the doctor was involved in was the fact that William Holden was the husband of Wagner’s Hart to Hart co-star Stefanie Powers, the very same one that Natalie was jealous of because of her strong on-screen chemistry with Wagner. Holden’s death was also shrouded in mystery, as it was reported that he drunkenly slipped on a rug and lacerated his forehead on a bedside table two weeks before Natalie drowned. It was certainly a weird coincidence.

Wagner was doing everything in his power to do manage control, and the boat’s captain Davern, who was staying at Wagner’s house, reported that he found it difficult to leave. The home was heavily secured, and Wagner’s bodyguards did not allow him to leave. Why was Wagner so worried about Davern leaving? Then, out of nowhere, Davern was offered acting roles in both commercials and even a small part in Hart to Hart. Wagner also began offering him money. What was going on?
