The location for Admiral Chegwidden’s (played by John M. Jackson) house is actually the Peter Strauss Ranch. Which is even operated by the National Park Service in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area in Southern California. Did you know it was once owned by actor Peter Strauss? Such a beautiful location!

When Tracey Needham was on the show, she was seen wearing ribbons and also only the Meritorious Unit Commendation. However she should have been wearing the National Defense Medal as well. This was authorized for all service personnel serving from August 2, 1990 to November 30, 1995. Considering that Needham first appeared as Lieutenant Junior Grade Meg Austin on September 30, 1995, this should have been the case.
