Marion Jones
Marion Jones became the first female athlete million in the whole world as a highly successful track and field star who won three gold and two bronze medals at the 2002 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. Her legacy was tarnished once she admitted to using steroid and her medals were revoked. In 2006, she filed for bankruptcy, was forced to sell her homes, and even spent time in jail for counterfeit checks.
Rollie Fingers
Rollie Fingers played in the MLB for the Milwaukee Brewers and the Sand Diego Padres throughout the 1970’s. Once he left the sport in 1978, he filed for bankruptcy and was desperate for money in order to feed his children and pay rent. He was forced to sell all of the Arabian horses he bought.
