After that terrible night, Jane knew that she was completely by herself. She decided that she would figure out what was going on with this ring and how she could stop the awful harassment. She felt that her next stop would have to be the pawn shop.

Jane realized that the person harassing her didn’t know she’d sold the ring, so she decided to investigate by going to the pawnshop again. However, she couldn’t take her phone and had to use a taxi so that she wasn’t tracked. The pawnshop owner seemed to be expecting her.
