From Tragedy, to Superstardom
Irina Shayk is probably one of the most famous Russians in the West, and her success has not come so easily to her. While her talent for modeling is undeniable, she had a difficult childhood; her father died of pneumonia when she was just 14. Her mother had to have two jobs to keep the family afloat, and it is perhaps her example that inspired the incredible work ethic that Shayk is so known for today. She is also a great musician, being proficient both at playing the piano and singing!

This Phenomenal Actress Has Another Incredible Talent
Her breakthrough in film came with her role in The Danish Girl, which won her an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, but Alicia Vikander is not just a great actor. She is also a highly-trained ballet dancer, having studied the art at the Royal Swedish Ballet School in Stockholm, Sweden. Vikander worked for the Gothenburg Opera as a child and has also studied ballet in New York City. It’s hard not to feel envious of her talent!
