She might be known to many fans as a Turkish actress, but Fahriye Evcen is actually originally German! Her backstory is inspiring; born to a Turkish family in Germany, Evcen traveled often to her motherland throughout her childhood, and eventually moved there when she was 19. Her career in showbusiness has thrived there, and she is now permanently based in Turkey, and married to a fellow Turkish actor, Burak Özçivit. It’s great to see someone so in touch with their roots.
