Sam Elliott took up a leading male role in the film I’ll See You in My Dreams, which was directed by Brett Haley. What caught people’s attention in this movie was the female lead who was above 40 years of age. Director Brett was also thrilled to have Sam on set and described him as the epitome of a “man’s man.”
