So months after this chance meeting, the two tied the knot. The two married at a lavish wedding ceremony with royals from all over in attendance. Rania was just 22 years old at the time. Abdullah and Rania describe what they had as “love at first sight.” At the wedding, Rania wore a dress from designer Elie Saab. Apparently, her hair-do was so high, she struggled to get into the car.
