There are so many stories that belong as a part of rock n’ roll lore, dating back from the 1950’s. These tales regale the crazy shenanigans rockers would go through, and many famous songs we all know and love have interesting back stories. In the case of three of the most popular songs of the 20th century, we can thank one woman for inspiring these rock stars. Pattie Boyd was the inspiration behind some of the most popular songs of all time, and this is her story.
Who Is She
Pattie Boyd is a beautiful model and photographer who was one of the world’s leading models during the 1960’s. Originally from England, Boyd eventually became close with some of the world’s most famous rock stars. She was the muse of these men, and we can thank her for inspiring some of our favorite tunes. Harper’s Bazaar she she has “stood at the intersection of fashion, rock ’n’ roll, art and fame” and inspired the British female look of the time.

Boyd was quite the popular model throughout the 60’s and was a common fixture in British Vogue, French Elle, and Vanity Fair. She became the spokeswoman for L’Oreal as well as Smith’s. Boyd also landed a coveted spread in Tatler, working alongside celebrated photographer Jeanloup Sieff.
