Ashley Olsen was a little upset her sister got a Primetime Emmy Nomination for her role in So Little Time. She decided to quit acting and pursue fashion designing full time on May 13, 2009. Mary-Kate took a few more roles until she too retired from acting.

They Still Don’t Compare Themselves
While Ashley was upset at not also getting a nomination, she never compares her acting skills with her sister. She said, “Some twins feel like they need to compare themselves to each other, but we’re not that way. That’s because of my parents, though, and having six kids in the family.”
