We love them and they have easily become the most famous twins in the world. Now, they’ve shifted gears a bit from television and film, but we’re here to reveal little-known facts about the world’s favorite twins.
They’re Not Identical
Mind boggling, we know, but Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are actually NOT identical twins. They are technically fraternal twins. Thus, they came from separate eggs and do not have the same DNA. They Wore Dentures
While filming Full House, the Olsen twins were obviously growing up and going through body changes. Therefore, it wasn’t surprising they lost teeth at different times. In order to conceal to the audience that two separate people played Michelle Tanner, the producers got the twins to wear dentures to hide missing teeth. Thus, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen had the additional task of learning how to act and speak with false teeth.
