One of the first things people think of when they think of Paris is the Eiffel Tower. It has easily become an icon in Paris. The structure was designed from 1887 to 1889 by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 World’s Fair. It’s hard to believe that it was first met with a load of criticism by locals.

The National Air and Space Museum is a Smithsonian Institution museum, which was opened in 1976. The museum is dedicated to showcasing the history of space technology and innovation, aviation, and aeronautics. Moreover, it features a center for terrestrial geology and planetary science research.
