Campaigning isn’t a new concept, and you can see JFK doing that in the photo. It was taken during the 1960s Presidential race for the Democratic Primary. Since he was Roman Catholic, he knew West Virginians wouldn’t like him, and he went door to door!
Hopi Tribe Members in 1912
The Hopi tribe can be found in Northeastern Arizona, and they’re a tight-knit group. In fact, they couldn’t marry outside the tribe. You see this Hopi girl in the photograph, and she gave permission to show the traditional clothing and hairstyle, indicating she’s ready for marriage.
