Often with language learning, the language learner is tasked with writing out sentences or speaking out sentences in order to practice vocabulary. In this case, this student was asked to “tell your sister to do the following things,” but instead of giving the answer in the language they’re learning, they simply answered: I don’t have a sister. Quite clever, but probably not good enough to get full credit.

When asked about the diagram that shows the giraffes eating leaves from a tree, the student was meant to identify the correct scientific theory that is being illustrated. However, the student decided to go with a more literal interpretation, saying that giraffes are heartless creatures that don’t help those who are less fortunate.
