Unfortunately, Nancy Spungen’s time as a groupie did not end well. This former girlfriend of Sex Pistols’ Sid Vicious had moved to London to immerse herself in the punk rock scene. Previously diagnosed with schizophrenia, Spungen struggled with drugs and resorted to prostitution to support herself. She hung out with Aerosmith, The Ramones and The New York Dolls. Tragically, she was found dead from a stabbing in her hotel room at only 20 years old.

This British singer first broke into the spotlight after being discovered by the Rolling Stones manager, Andrew Loog. Perhaps, her most famous relationship was the several years spent with Mick Jagger. Of course, she had relations with other Rolling Stones band members and many other rockers over the years. Though it’s not only the groupie life that left its mark, she has really made a name for herself through her own singing career.
