Back when Ryan Coogler directed the incredibly moving film, Fruitvale Station, critics began paying attention. Then, came Creed in 2015, and alas, we have Black Panther from this talented man. He became the youngest Marvel Studios filmmaker with this blockbuster hit. Once A Wrinkle in Time came out in March 2018, it became the first time two black filmmakers had the top two movies at the box office with Coogler and DuVernay’s films.

Wow, these brothers have really made their mark on the entertainment industry. These two directors are responsible for some of the most beloved films like, Fargo, The Big Lebowski, True Grit, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, No Country For Old Men and Inside Llewyn Davis.
