In 1986, when Heather Locklear was just 24 years old, she married rock star Tommy Lee of the band Motley Crue. While their marriage lasted a considerably long time for a Hollywood marriage, they did call it quits and divorce in 1993. Locklear went on to marry Richie Sambora and Lee married Pamela Anderson.

Cameron Diaz and Matt Dillon met in 1995 but only started dating in 1996. They later starred in There’s Something About Mary together, but following the film’s release, the two ended their relationship. On their time together, Dillon said: “I fell in love. It’s a very powerful thing when you feel that way about somebody. Cameron was a muse for me. I hadn’t been in any deep emotional relationships. Look, I loved her and we were very close, but it just ran its course. We’re both actors, she was living in L.A., and I was living in New York, and I didn’t want to commit to moving out there. But I don’t want to say it was about any of those things. It just ran its course.”
