Jennifer Grey and Matthew Broderick
In her memoir Out of the Corner, Jennifer Grey shared that she and Matthew Broderick had a “clandestine set romance” while they were filming Ferris Beuller’s Day Off in 1986. She shared: “I was as surprised as anyone when our relationship morphed from on-screen sibling rivalry to off-screen illicit romance.” They dated after the film came out and were even engaged in 1988 before breaking up.

Tatum O’Neal and John McEnroe
In 1984, Tatum O’Neal began dating tennis star John McEnroe, moving into his Central Park West apartment shortly after. They got married in 1986 and had three children together. By 1992, they separated and in 1994 they divorced. Due to O’Neal’s drug addiction, she lost custody of their children, with McEnroe obtaining custody in 1998.
