Celebrity couples have been a fixture in our society ever since celebrities have become a part of the zeitgeist. We love to know the details of who is dating whom, what happens during celebrity breakups, and the people they move on with. Why are we so fascinated with this? Perhaps it’s because the lives of the rich, famous and beautiful will always be more interesting than the mundanities of life. Most celebrity couples don’t stand the test of time, and many of these relationships will become forgotten by the public. Alyssa Milano and Corey Haim
Actress Alyssa Milano dated fellow actor Corey Haim from 1987 until 1990. Haim struggled with substance abuse, and though she and her parents tried to help him through it, his struggle continued on, eventually taking his life in 2010 when he was just 38 years old.

Dennis Quaid and Lea Thompson
Lea Thompson and Dennis Quaid met when they were filming Jaws 3-D in 1983. They were together for a year before getting engaged, and their engagement lasted for two more years after that. However, in 1986, the two went their separate ways and Thompson married Howard Deutch in 1989 while Quaid went on to marry Meg Ryan in 1991.
