For some reason, most of us seem to be fascinated by the personal lives of celebrities. Maybe it’s because otherwise they seem larger than life, and we want to feel like they’re just like us, despite their glamorous lives and huge paychecks. Stories that seem to always be the most popular involve celebrities that are engaged in affairs. We always tend to assume the worst, but we really never actually know what’s going on. What we do know is that sometimes, people will leave their spouses for their paramours. Here are some instances when that happened.
Miranda Lambert
Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton performed together at the CMT 100 Greatest Duets show in 2005. On the performance, Shelton shared: “We were singing as part of a duets concert that CMT was putting on. They paired me with Miranda, and we were on stage for rehearsal, and I don’t know, something just happened and we both knew it.” Even though he was still married to Kanyette Williams, Shelton and Lambert got together. He and Williams ended their relationship in 2006 and he and Lambert got married in 2012 after four years of dating. Unfortunately, this marriage wouldn’t last either, but we’ll get back to that.

Angelina Jolie
We have to preface this one with the fact that Brad and Angelina both insist that they were never together while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston. However, in 2004, while the two were filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith, they definitely grew close to another another. By 2005, Pitt and Aniston were divorced and under a year later, Brangelina was a thing. They eventually divorced as well in 2016.
