Dick “Night Train” Lane played for the Los Angeles Rams in the 1950’s and 1960’s, making it into the Hall of Fame. After his long and successful career, Lane sadly ran into trouble. He started drinking heavily and using substances. He ended up losing his fortune and going completely broke.

Bernie Kosar
Bernie Kosar played as quarterback in the NFL for teams like the Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, and Miami Dolphins before retiring early in 1996. A decade after retiring and following a string of bad investments, Kosar filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy, being $19 million in debt and back taxes. Several of his properties were foreclosed and seized by the government.
