Angel Nieves is a retired New York Police Department detective. He was Rescue Ink’s official pet investigator. He was one of the first members of the organization in 2007 and has been helping animals in any way he can ever since.

No one knows more about cats then this guy right here. Des Calderon was Rescue Ink’s resident feline specialist. He has dedicated years in studying, adopting, and rescuing homeless in Manhattan. His organization, “Uptown Cats” where he provides shelter and food for these cats.
