In 2008, a group of volunteers from New York formed a non-profit animal rights protection organization called Rescue Ink. The team consists of ex-bodybuilders, lawyers, police detectives, former military personnel, and power-lifting champions.

Because they’re a non-profit organization they rely solely on donations from the public to do the work that they do. They also work in conjunction with the police and other public organizations when necessary. Everything they do is to protect animals from abuse.
