Bruises Before Fall
Once they re-opened the case again in 2011, something important came out. The new coroner’s report concluded that Natalie Wood’s bruises had been inflicted before her body entered the ocean. However, the medical examiner was unable to determine whether these bruises were from abuse/assault or just accidental.

A major turn in the case came from the report we mentioned from 2011. In it, they changed the ruling to undetermined from the initial ruling of accidental. The reason being was those bruises. It stated, “The location of the bruises, the multiplicity of the bruises, lack of head trauma, or facial bruising support bruising having occurred prior to entry in the water.”
