Well, we totally understand why Davis was hesitant to show her family the show. She asked her parents not to watch it and didn’t even mention SATC to her grandmother! She felt the material would shock them. After time, her parents watched the show as Davis became more relaxed about it and her grandmother passed. Actually, her father uses the show for his lectures as a college psychology professor on topics of marriage and sexuality.
