Thus, they dubbed the move, “The Biles.” You can even find hilarious memes all over the web of her flipping into outer space and back. However, that is not the only time she made headlines.

Simone Biles’ fame got her onto the show, Dancing with the Stars. Though Biles was not too enthusiastic at some of the judges responses to her routines. On the show, the judges said her dances were lacking in emotion. In response to the host asking why any of the nicer comments on her routine did not elicit a smile from her, Biles retored, “Smiling doesn’t win you gold medals.” Her sassy comeback went viral and fans celebrated her for standing up against negative feedback.
