One look at these delicious treats and you won’t believe that they are healthy. They are, though, thanks to the addition of pumpkin and a preference for dark chocolate. In small doses dark chocolate can be great for your health as it is filled with antioxidants. you’ll be blending together canned pumpkin (not the pie filling) with honey, eggs, vanilla extract and brown sugar. Mix together your baking soda, oat flour, and spices of choice in another bowl. Mix the outputs together and throw in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Bourbon, Cranberry, and Walnut Cookies

Get dad involved with the cookie making by adding in some bourbon to your recipe. You’ll make your typical cookie batter with brown sugar, vanilla extract and an egg. Before you head to sculpting you’ll want to blend in about a 1/4 cup of your favorite bourbon for flavor. We suggest letting the batter sit in the fridge for awhile before sculpting and baking. Refrigerating the dough will keep it from becoming too crumbly when cooked.
