On the Bridge of Death, first shot of the very first day- the camera broke. And it was the only one they could afford. Even after they had managed to fix it a little, the sync sound was off and were forced to shoot silent dialogue-less shots until it was properly fixed.

Shot on Gillium’s living room floor, the hands turning the pages of The Book of the Film belonged to Gillium’s wife, Maggie Weston, and Gillium himself wearing a gorilla hand. Palin’s son was also in the book pictured in a baby photo as Sir Not Appearing in This Film.
