Tom Cubbage
The only contestant to win the Tournament of Champions in addition to the College Championship, Cubbage is unbelievable! During the College Tournament he won $26,600 back in 1989. Then he won the $100,000 grand prize in the Tournament of Champions the same year! He told the show that afterwards, some gardner from Massachusetts mailed him a trophy of sorts. It was a huge gourd on which the man carved, “Tom Cubbage, Jep Champ.” Cubbage said, “It was a surprising and generous, but unfortunately perishable, tribute.” A bit strange, but it’s the thought that counts.

Now, this is someone to watch! In 2018, she won a total of $75,999 during her five day streak. She hoped to use some money to learn how to fly. Since her big win, she said, “My Facebook has been blowing up. I have been offered everything from marriage proposals to flight lessons. It’s fun to be recognized, for now.” Anyway, look out for her future appearances on the show during the championships.
