The Dress
The breathtaking dress Capshaw is seen in the beginning of Temple of Doom was actually designed with authentic beads and sequins from the 20’s. Moreover an elephant on the set actually ate most of the dress before the opening scene was even filmed, therefore the dress was rushed in for extensive repairs.

If you can wrap your mind around this, Jonathan Ke Quan was actually never meant to play Short Round, instead his brother auditioned for the role. However Jonathan kept correcting his brother, of course he did, so the casting director asked him to try out and BOOM – he landed the role.
