No, really, he did. However that’s precisely why he pursued his own children’s show. Rogers despised how senseless and silly children’s shows were, they also didn’t deliver any kind of message either. Therefore Mr. Rogers stepped up and while he didn’t preach environmental education, he did treat children like they were capable of learning. And that made all the difference.
