Saturday Night Fever
When you think Bee Gees, you often first recall their work for Saturday Night Fever. However, they did not even get involved until the film was in post-production phase. In fact, John Travolta had been dancing to Stevie Wonder and Boz Scaggs. Then, producer Robert Stigwood reached out to the group to ask if they could create some songs for the movie. The rest is history.
Creative Geniuses
It wasn’t only the songs they sang that made the Bee Gees so famous. In fact, these men were true lyricists. They wrote hits for other huge artists, you probably had no clue about! The wrote songs like, Barbara Streisand’s “Woman in Love,” Diana Ross’ “Chain Reaction” and Frankie Valli’s “Grease.”
